Play your Part - Become a Member of NHS Wirral today!
NHS Wirral would like the people of Wirral to play their part by taking an active role in helping us shape local health services.
Our Membership Scheme gives people that sign up the opportunity to tell us what they think about our services, and us the chance to hear what people and patients have to say. We are keen to hear how you think we could improve the way we deliver services to you and your community.
Members receive regular updates from NHS Wirral and invitations to focus groups, workshops and events, as well as volunteering opportunities and pilot projects. We also send copies of our key corporate publications such as our Annual Report. If members are interested in any particular areas of healthcare, our Membership Team can send them tailored information.
As a member you are entitled to register on the NHS Discounts website: www.nhsdiscounts.com where you can purchase goods, services and shopping vouchers at discounted rates. Registration is simple and only takes a couple of minutes. Please note only on-line registration is available to NHS Wirral members.
Who can sign up?
Anyone over the age of 14 years old, that lives or works in Wirral can become a member. In addition, anyone who has been a patient in Wirral or anyone who works for the NHS in Wirral can also become a member.
Your rights
Membership carries no obligations and members are free to leave the scheme whenever they like. Members’ details will be protected under the Data Protection Act 1998 and any transport costs incurred through membership business can be reimbursed.
